Evora, a UNESCO World Heritage site on the Alentejo plain at 1053 feet, is quite hot in the summer, expect 12-13 days above 90 degrees F in July and August, but the weather is almost perfect in the “shoulder” months of Map and October (although you can expect some rain in October).
